Big Berland Campground Alberta Provincial
Recreation Area
The
Big Berland campground is located
approximately
60km
south east of the Town of
Grande Cache
and approximately
62km
north west of the Town of
Hinton.
362km
north west of the City of
Edmonton.
There are a total of 18 sites for both
tents and larger RV's, picnic shelter,
fire wood, picnic tables, fish
cleaning station, water and dry
toilets. This campground is located
near the
Wilmore
Wilderness area and is
often used as a staging area for
horses or backcountry hiking. If
you're looking for untouched
wilderness and absolute isolation
you can find it in the
Wilmore
Wilderness area that is
adjacent to Jasper National Park.
The Berland River flows along the
campground and offers good fishing
for Rainbow Trout, Bull Trout and
Whitefish, you'll need a
fishing
license to try your luck.

28km
north of here. Night skies here
