Location:  #11 David Thompson highway next to Shunda Creek, 72kms west of Rocky Mountain House Alberta.

Description: Harlech campground only contains 17 campsites with 6 of those located in an overflow parking lot. Amenities include water, fire pits, dry toilets, picnic tables, refuse containers, community kitchen and fire wood available for sale. The campground is nicely treed with lots of privacy and well suited for both RV's and tents. Shunda Creek trailhead is located here which leads 10kms south to the North Saskatchewan River. There is also nearby ATV access leading to several quad trails in the area. Shunda creek holds Rainbow and Brown Trout and is good for fly fishing. You'll need a fishing license to try your luck. Near Here: Local campgrounds include Dry Haven, Fish Lake, Goldeye Lake and Jackfish Lake. You are in bear country. Food and food related items must be stored properly.
