Kehiwin Lake Campground
Alberta Provincial
Park.
Kehiwin Lake campground is located on
the east shore of
Kehiwin Lake approximately
210km
north east of the city of
Edmonton
and
22km
south of the town of
Bonnyville. There are
35 sites on a first come first serve
basis. This
campground offers campsites for both
tents and larger RV's, dry toilets,
fire wood for sale, picnic tables,
boat launch and a
fish cleaning station.
Kehiwin Lake
offers excellent
northern Pike,
Lake Whitefish,
Walleye
and
Perch
fishing,
you'll need a
fishing
license to try your luck.
This campground
is located between Kehiwin Lake and
the Buffalo Trail highway. Traffic
noise can be heard here all day.
Some of the campsites are located
right on the lake with the ability
to tie up a small boat. Kehiwin Lake
is also good for canoeing and
kayaking. There is a boat launch
here.
This is
bear country,
food and food related items must be
stored properly.
