Red Lodge campground is located in a protected natural area that was once owned by an English settler name Mr. Crichly who had a red colored log cabin. The trail following the Little Red Deer River is very nice with several sitting benches that are located on the rivers bank. There are a few off road trails nearby for those with mountain bikes.
