This is a difficult scramble involving 3 short rock ledges. Cross the highway
and pick up the trail located at the bottom of the road side cut out.
Continue up a grassy trail overlooking the highway cutout then turn right and
start ascending steep slabs of rock and scree. You may pass a few native
vision quest sites, leave them for wind and time erosion. At around 522m
you'll reach the first of three rock steps. This is where the scrambling begins.
Plan on bringing a pair of gloves, rillenkarren embedded in the limestone is
razor sharp. Work your way up the first step onto to level ground, continue on
to the second and third step before reaching the cairned lookout. Keep your eye
out for Big Horn Sheep below.
