Pocahontas Campground

Location: Located 45kms north of Jasper on highway #16. Jasper National Park.

Description: Pocahontas Campground contains 140 campsites best suited for tents and smaller RV’s located within five separate loops. Several of the sites back onto Mosquito Creek. There are also 5 nice walk in tent sites with food lockers located at the east end of the campground. Amenities include picnic tables, fire boxes, firewood  available with a fire permit, flush toilets, potable water, disability access, disability campsites and interpretive programs. Nearby short walk to Punch Bowl Falls and the Old Pocahontas Mine offer some beautiful views of the surrounding valley. Miette Hot Springs is a short drive up the Fiddle Valley to the east. This is the hottest hot spring (54C) located in the Canadian Rockies. There are also several hiking trails nearby and an abundance of local wildlife.
