Location/Description
Location: West side of the Icefields Parkway 52kms north of Lake Louise. Banff National Park.
Description: Silverhorn Creek Campground contains 67 campsites best suited for larger pull in RV’s and trailers. Not suited for tenters.
The sites are very close together, similar to a commercial parking lot that is used for overflow campers. Most of the sites have picnic tables and fire pits however expect to rub elbows with your neighbors.
Fire wood is available when purchasing a fire permit. Amenities include a hand water pump (potable water is available at Waterfowl Lakes 5.5kms north of here), garbage bins and dry toilets. Waterfowl Lakes, Peyto Lake, Bow Lake and Saskatchewan Crossing are located near here. There are plenty of beautiful hikes in this area.
Night skies here rank #1 on the Bortle Scale. This is bear country, food and food related items must be stored properly.

Feels like an overflow parking lot. The creek and local views are very nice.
