Location/Description
Location: #43 highway 112kms west of Whitecourt Alberta.
Description: Waskahigan River campground contains 20 campsites for both RV’s and tents. Amenities include picnic shelter, fire wood, picnic tables, water and dry toilets. This campground may rank as one of the dullest campgrounds in Alberta. It’s an open field located next to the #43 highway and is really more of a stop over or rest area than campground.
Night skies here are ink black and rank #4 on the Bortle Scale. This is bear country, food and food related items must be stored properly.
