Beaver Lake Campground Alberta

Location: North shore of Beaver Lake 220kms north of Edmonton. 4.5kms east of Lac La Biche Alberta.

Description: Beaver Lake campground contains 90 campsites suited for both RV’s and tents. Amenities include picnic tables, public phone, showers, flush toilets, handicap, electricity, water, small store, camp kitchen, boat launches, boat rentals, fish tackle shop and fish cleaning stations. Firewood is available when purchasing a fire permit. There is also a golf course located a few kilometers from here.

The nearby town of Lac La Biche provides all the amenities and services one would need. Beaver Lake offers excellent northern Pike, Perch, Whitefish, Walleye and Burbot fishing, You’ll need a fishing license to try your luck. This campground is excellent for boaters and fishermen with good access to access Beaver Lake. Boat launches are paved and nicely sloped.

You can also find chartered fishing services or a guide at the local tackle shop. A large fishing derby put on by the Town of Lac La Biche is held here every August. The lake is also perfect for canoeing and kayaking with lots of arms, coves and islands to explore. Campsites are located on both open grass and the surrounding old growth forest offering good privacy. Beaver Lake is a bird watchers paradise and a breeding ground for several species of birds..
