Location/Description
Location: 12kms west of highway #22 on gravel road #532. 112kms south of Calgary. Kananaskis Country Alberta.
Description: Indian Graves Campground contains 38 campsites for both RV’s and tents. Amenities include playground, dry toilets, hand operated water pump, garbage bins, picnic tables and fire pits. Dry firewood is available here for sale.
This campground also has a group camp and equestrian facilities. Nearby Willow Creek and Johnson Creek run crystal clear and hold wild Cutthroat Trout. You’ll need a fishing license to try your luck. There are a few unmarked trails in the area for hiking however this campground is better suited for equestrian activities.
It’s also popular with off road enthusiasts, expect to hear several dirt bikes and quads buzzing around during the day.
Night skies here rank #3 on the Bortle Scale. This is bear country, food and food related items must be stored properly.
