Location/Description
Location: Iosegun Lake Provincial Park 11kms north of Fox Creek Alberta.
Description: Iosegun Lake campground contains 52 campsites for both RV’s and tents. Amenities include group camping, water, fire wood available for sale, picnic tables, canoeing & kayaking, power boating, water skiing, public boat launch, public dock, fish cleaning station, winter ice fishing and snowmobiling off site.
The campsites are well treed and located in the surrounding aspen and spruce forest with some privacy. Iosegun Lake is good for fishing Northern Pike and Walleye. You’ll need a fishing license to try your luck. Fisherman without boats can access a long dock to fish of off. Boaters will find a good boat launch and large dock for mooring.
Iosegun Lake is part of the Smokey River Basin and has an approximate total surface area of 13.4kms with an average depth of 4.1ms, maximum depth of 11.2ms. Iosegun Lake Provincial Park also attracts a large variety of migrating waterfowl and is a great place for birders. The lake experiences green algae blooms during the summer months.
