Location/Description
Location: East shore of Kehewin Lake 210kms north of Edmonton. 22kms south of Bonnyville Alberta. Provincial Recreation Area.
Description: Kehewin Lake campground contains 35 campsites suitable for both RV’s and tents with a few choice sites located next to the lake. Amenities include dry toilets, fire wood available for sale, picnic tables, boat launch and a fish cleaning station. Kehewin Lake offers good Northern Pike, Perch, Whitefish and Walleye fishing. You’ll need a fishing license to try your luck.
The campground is located between Kehewin Lake and Buffalo Trail #41 highway. Traffic noise can be heard all day. Kehewin Lake is good for canoeing and kayaking and there is a boat launch here. The nearby town of Bonnyville is worth exploring and has all the amenities one would need.
