Prairie Creek Campground

Location: Next to Prairie Creek 41kms south of Rocky Mountain House Alberta.

Description: Prairie Creek campground contains 50 well treed campsites with a few choice sites located next to Prairie Creek. Amenities include water, fire pits, dry toilets, picnic tables, refuse containers and community kitchen. No firewood available.

The campground is located in a protected natural area with a small unnamed creek that flows in between the two campground loops. The creek provides a nice nature space in the middle of the campsites. This area is a favorite for off road enthusiast Expect off road vehicles and lots of noise here during the summer months.

Nearby Prairie Creek offers good fly fishing for Brown Trout and Bull Trout. You’ll need a fishing license to try your luck.
